Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at newgenacu@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

During an acupuncture session, you will lie down on a comfortable table while the acupuncturist inserts thin needles into specific points on your body. You may feel a slight prick or a sensation of warmth or heaviness. You will then relax for about 20-30 minutes before the needles are removed.

It is recommended that you wear loose, comfortable clothing to your acupuncture session. It is also best to avoid both hunger and eating a heavy meal or consuming alcohol or caffeine before your appointment.

Fine needles are gently inserted to help restore the flow of Qi and blood. Imagine your blood vessels and muscles as a busy highway—when overused or damaged, traffic slows, and everything becomes less efficient. The needles act like clearing a path, creating space for energy and circulation to move freely once more.
